Make-up secret!

Hello lovely readers...how are you all tonight? Sorry for posting a little later than normal, have been pretty busy! But it's all good...and worth it :)

I have a little make-up tip for you all!

To create a gorgeous base for your makeup and to get that gorgeous glow use L'Oreal's youth code moisturiser....It's amazing and gives your skin an amazing healthy glow!

It's so good they even used it on X Factor for all the contestants!

Cuckoo for this colour....

I know we should be leaving the darker nail colours behind and going for bright pops of colour during spring bu I can't bring myself to do it yet.....not when OPI have such a delicious range of colours like cuckoo for this colour!

It's my favourite shade of green, it's slightly darker than the picture below and has more of a jewel tone to it.

It goes with every skin colour and looks amazing with a tan too so you can wear it in the summer if you're like me and can't let go of the darker shades just yet....

Soft skin overnight...

 Hey guys....well as spring seems to be coming along with all the lovely weather we've been having the past week, we all want gorgeous soft skin....and quick!

I know it's been out there for a long time and isn't anything new or exciting but this stuff really does work and as I'm not the most patient girl...I like to see results pretty quickly!

Well here is the (worst kept) secret....E45!

I use the lotion as it sinks in quicker compared to the cream.

Use it in the morning and before bed and especially after showers....thats the best time to moisturise!

If your skin is really dry you can also use it on the face but I would recommend doing that before bed.

It's not a fancy cream, it doesn't have a luxurious smell but that's because it's suitable for all skin types including very sensitive.

You can buy it at boots, superdrug or any good stores.

Statement Lips.....

Statement lips.....when you think of a colour that will instantly add glamour and make you stand out what do you think?? Red!! Of course...everyone does!

Latley though I have been seeing too much red, every single red (orangey red, blue undertone red, deep red, plum red.....EVERY red) and I'm getting bored of it...... so the new 'big' colour for spring/summer....bubblegum pink/magenta

It's a gorgeous colour you can wear all spring and summer, it looks great with a tan, instantly adds glamour and still says 'statement' without having the same colour as everyone!

The best lipstick is Illamasqua Lipstick in 'Avenge' and you can buy it for £15 which is a very good price for the quality and colour!

If you do want a hot-pink apply this first as a base colour and then MAC's metallic red pigment powder in magenta madness...this will look even more gorgeous!

Its totally going to be big in the spring/ summer so I suggest going to get yours now!

Quick tip for blusher brushes....

 Hey guys, hope you all had a lovely weekend!

It's monday already.....I actually can't believe how quickly that weekend went by...... oh well never mind....another week to look forward to!

Here is a quick tip for when you go shopping for new blusher brushes.

• Make sure it has really fluffy, soft bristles.
• Make sure its rounded, not square or flat (which is used in contouring).

Rounded, fluffy brushes will blend the colour well leaving you with a natural looking 'glow' on your cheeks.

I like MAC's selection of blusher brushes but sometimes bristles can fall out when applying make-up which isn't too good.....I also like Bobbi Brown's collection on brushes, they're good quality but a tad expensive if you're on a budget!

Amazing eye pencil......

Hey guys.....well here we have it, one of the most used eye pencils within the make-up industry.

MAC's kohl pencil in the colour: Smoulder.

The Pigment and depth of colour in the pencil is gorgeous, it makes the white of your eyes whiter, defines the eye and adds a sexyness (is that even a word?)  to any type of make-up look....especially the smokey eye!

Smoulder compliments every eye colour and every skin tone, you can tone it down with a simple line during the day and play it up by lining the upper lash line and smudging it on the outer corner of the eyes for a cat-like look.

I love it and so many other make-up artists use it....even Kim Kardashian's make-up artist uses it to create Kim's signature smokey eye to all the big events she goes to.
