Kate Middleton's wedding make-up?

The majority of people have been wondering what Kate's hair will be like, what her make-up will be like and of course the main thing what her wedding dress will be like.

I think everything about her is classy and she always wears clothes that are elegant, she knows what suits her and obviously dresses well due to the events she goes to.

I assume her style will remain elegant and classy on her wedding day as I can't really imagine her drastically changing her hair or make-up so my thoughts are her dress will be quite fitted with a long-ish train....her hair I would like to see down and full of volume and her make-up quite clean and simple.

The royal wedding is hours away now (it's nearly one in the morning UK time) and 2 billion people are expected to watch......all ready the news channels are reporting on it...especially Sky News which has been showing us whats going on outside Buckingham palace all evening!!

Anyway I'm off to get my beauty sleep.....will be updating the blog later on today :)

Make your own body scrub!

Hey guys well as everyone has been enjoying the gorgeous sun and wearing their shorts, skirts, dresses etc we all want our skin to look amazing!

A quick an easy way to do that is to exfoliate your skin, this will remove any dead skin cells leaving you with gorgeous, smooth and soft skin which of course looks fab!

If you are on a budget you can make your own exfoliator.....heres how....
  • In a bowl add 4tsp sugar.
  • Any essential oil you want but I would recommend  jojoba oil which keeps skin soft... approx 4-5 drops.
  • A few drops of water.
Mix together to form a paste but not enough so the sugar melts....you need the sugar as granules to exfoliate.

The mixture makes enough for one leg, a little goes a long way, you don't want to put too much on and don't press the mixture too hard into the skin as it could leave you with little red marks (which will calm down in about half an hour)

Jojoba oil leaves skin smelling gorgeous and acts as a moisturiser so you'll have gorgeous legs, arms and skin!

You can use this on your face gently, this will give you a healthy glow and of course leave your skin lovely and soft thanks to the Jojoba oil....

Let me know what you think!

Keep Make-up on all day and night.....

I've had quite a few people asking how they can make their make-up last longer and look amazing all day.
It's quite simple really, you need to use products that won't melt off....

Start by applying a tinted moisturiser  like 'Laura Mercier SPF 20' £33 that will sink into the skin and give you an even base to work on.

Make sure you use a good primer like 'L'oreal studio secrets primer' £12-15 depending where you buy it from.
Another primer which is very good and brightens your face is Benefit's brightening primer called 'Benefit that gal' £21.50

Primer acts as a barrier between your skin and make-up which prevents you from becoming shiny and giving your skin a gorgeous, smooth finish.

Becca Cheek and Lip tint....

I'm in love with lip and cheek tints as they're lovely for spring/summer...they make you look refreshed, younger and the best part is they last all day if you find a good one!

BECCA is an Australian brand and they have one of the most gorgeous tints called 'Grapefruit', it's a peachy tone which compliments most skin tones, especially tanned (good for summer) plus it keeps lips hydrated (again good for the summer)....

It is priced at £20...worth spending if you want a nice colour thats long lasting....not too good if you're on a budget but just think of the gorgeous summer glow you will have!!

  • Apply a lipbalm before to make sure lips stay smooth.
  • Always apply cheek tint with fingertips rather than a brush as this will give you a long-lasting stain.
  • If you just want a healthy glow then ditch the foundation for that pop of colour.
  • Keep the colour mainly on the apple of the cheeks (plumpest part of the cheek when you smile) to keep you looking younger and fresh-faced.

Go and get yours to make sure you're looking gorgeous during your holidays and them lovely summer months ahead!

Summer Glow....

Well today has been another amazing day in London...I cannot get enough of this weather....anyway I'm listening to music (as usual) and thought to update the blog seeing as I haven't done so this weekend!

A tip to wearing lighter make-up in the sun whilst still looking healthy, tanned and glowing is by mixing your foundation with moisturiser and bronzer.

On the back of your hand mix the foundation and your moisturiser and scrape a little bit of bronzer together and apply it all over your face for an even, healthy glow.

The moisturiser softens the skin (obviously) the foundation evens your skin tone and the bronzer adds the summer 'glow'.

Once you have done this apply some higlighter on the top of the cheekbones and follow it round to the eyebrow area which will make you look awake and refreshed.

Some mascara and a clear lipgloss.....you're good to go!

I would recommend using Rimmel 25 hour or Maxfactor's Xperience foundation.
E45 as a moisturiser.
Laura Geller marble bronzer.

If you want you can also add a pop of colour by applying a pink colour on the apples (plumpest part when you smile) of the cheek.

Beauty Buzz............

Hello....well today has been one of the most beautiful days I have seen in London this year.... the weather was amazing, sun was shining (which makes everyone happy) and the sky was blue....proper blue!

Anyway moving onto the main topic....I am bringing you a new must-have to add to your cleansing routine.

It hasn't hit stores yet but you will be able to get it from Boots in May and in June it will be available nationwide.

So what is all the fuss about.... Clarins daily energiser wake-up booster. The best part.... it's only £15

With anti-oxidants (white tea and cocoa) that sound good enough to drink why wouldn't you want to have this as an extra product to your skin routine especially on those mornings you look tired?
Plus with green coffee as another ingredient it will help to keep your skin looking younger and boost cell activity which means your skin will have that 'healthy holiday glow'.

As mentioned above it hits boots in May and nationwide stores in June and for £15 you can't really go wrong, it sounds yummy, makes skin look gorgeous and is already creating a buzz!

Rimmel 25 hour lasting foundation...

Hello my lovely readers..... how are you all?

Well I'm actually tucked up in bed listening to music and thought to update my blog....it's 00:52 here in the UK...... I really need to go to sleep!! ha!

Well today I went shopping and bought a new foundation.....Rimmel's 25 hour lasting foundation.

At first I didn't really think it would work but when I got home I applied it onto my skin and it immediatley looked dewy, gorgeous and glowing.
After 2 minutes of letting it sink in my skin looked airbrushed and without much having to be done.
After wearing it all day I have to say I am very happy with this and I think it's my new go-to foundation for nights out or when I feel like wearing something throughout the day.

It doesn't transfer onto clothes, I actually rubbed one of my favourite white shirts on my face to test it (not that clever if it had rubbed off onto it) and it didn't come off then I wiped my face with a baby wipe.....again it did NOT budge........in the end it came off with my Liz Earle make-up cleanser.

This is my new favourite product....I like Maxfactors foundation too but if you don't want shine, just a healthy glow and you need a founation to last all day then this is the one to go for.

You can buy it from superdrug or boots for £6.99 and it comes in shades that will suit each skin tone.

Garnier roll on eye treatment....

Do you wake up with tired feeling eyes and dark circles?

You don't have to worry anymore as Garnier have introduced their new roll on eye treatment with a tint to cover the bags. It comes in fair and medium and after using it for a month on clients, on myself and on my mum we all love it!!

It covers up the dark circles, looks natural and blends well with your makeup.
Plus the more you wear it the more it treats the area so.......benefits all round!!

You can buy it from boots, superdrug or anywhere that stocks beauty products.
Depending where you get it from it ranges £8 - £12
