Jelly Pong Pong Cheek Stain.....

I think cheek stains are lovely if you want a fresh simple look for the day.
Jelly Pong Pong have got a lovely one, it gives you a lovely pink flush and compliments any skin tone.

Generally speaking when you apply a pinky colour to the apple (plumpest part when you smile) of your cheek it instantly makes you look younger.
Apply a bronzer to your cheekbones and blend the pinky colour in for a more defined look.

Back to Jelly Pong Pong's cheek stain, it is one of the nicest stains around.....it blends easily and has a subtle shimmer to it.

The best part is that it smells of cherry sweets!!! oh and lets not forget it doubles up as a lip stain too.....do you need more convincing?

I didn't.....  :-)

Oh....and it's only £12

Let me know what you think!!

MAC Surf Collection 2011....

Im in love with MAC's new limited edition SURF collection!

How cute are these?

The bright packaging is what caught my eye first as it instantly made me think of the sun and sea......... I would say that this is a summer must have for every beauty junkie out there....go for the lip balm or lipgloss which is easy to apply during the days spent relaxing by the beach but be quick because you'll only find them till the end of June.

The collection has Lipsticks, Lipglosses, Eyeshadows, Eye Pencils, Blusher/bronzers and Glitter pots with the price ranging from £12 for a lipstick to £19 for a bronzing powder.....you can find these in any MAC store or anywhere like Debenhams which has a MAC beauty counter inside.

Let me know what you think!

Light my Sapphire......

I'm still in love with dark nail colours.....everyone seems to be wearing bright pinks and pastel blues but I cannot get away from the dark plums, reds and indigos!

I bought OPI Light my sapphire (don't you just love it's name) the other day, now I've painted my nails with it I had to post my thoughts of it....

As always I like OPI's brush technology, you can never have a messy finish with it, always make sure you apply two coats (any nail varnish brand) to make sure you get the full effect of the colour and chip resistance.
Make sure you use a base coat, your colour (obviously) and your top coat.
Base coat protects your nail and top coat seals everything in and makes your colour last longer.

I got told a trick once but I don't really use it as I don't like it.....a way to make sure your nails are dry is to lick your nail and see if you can taste nail varnish, if you can it's not fully dry.......................................................... yeah I thought that when I heard it for the first time too.....I don't use this but other people may find it works for them.

I use the old method either running my hands under cold water which seals the top layer and makes it harder or put my fingers in a bowl of ice cubes and water (carefully so you don't scratch your newly painted nails) again to freeze the top coat which will protect the colour.

Anyway back to the main point, I love the colour, it's a deep blue with little specs of glitter in it, it suits any skin tone and perfect from a day to night look.

There you go guys, thats a little post for you and little tips to painting your nails.

You can purchase OPI in Sally's or any other good beauty specialist shops. Prices vary and some people get discount if the have a sally's card.

Tip of the day.....

Believe it or not you can give your skin a boost by using Pepto-Bismol.....(I know it weird right!?)

Apply a light layer over your face with a cotton pad and leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse your skin with warm water and a splash of cold water at the end!

Pepto-Bismol contains Salicylic acid which gives your skin a healthy boost and leaves it feeling soft, smooth and looking fresh and glowing.

Thats your tip for the day....as weird as it sounds give it a go and you'll see how lovely your skin feels and looks.

Look forward to your comments!

Maybelline The Eraser and The Smoother Review

Hey guys, I know I've dissappeared for a few days (maybe a week) so I just want to say I'm sorry, I've just been reaaaaaally busy with different projects and on top of that I had a cold :-(

Anyway back to the point, last week I went looking for new beauty buys and I was in 'Boots' and went to test Maybelline's Smoother Skin Primer.

I grabbed my friends hand and put it on her (she had no choice) instantly her skin looked so smooth and healthy it was unbelieveable the difference from one hand to another........feeling slightly left out I tugged at my sleeve and put it on my hand too and again my skin looked gorgeous, neither of us could believe how this clear gel left our hands looking smooth!?

My friend (Kat) knows what I'm like when it comes to buying make-up, quite quickly dragged me out of the shop.........the next day without her knowledge I went and bought 3 of the primers haha :-)

It is an amazing primer, even my mum loves it, it leaves her skin healthy looking and any make-up she put over it looks smoother and more polished, even if you don't wear make-up this will still make your skin look good.
Today I didn't wear any make-up whatsoever and put a little bit of this on and I can honestly say it's the first primer that doesn't make my skin oily, makes my skin look good with no make-up and any make-up I do wear looks amazing and stays on all day!

You can NOT go wrong with this for £9.99 and whats even better is it's 3 for 2 at Boots and Superdrug!!!

Let me know what you think, comment if you like it, have tried it or will try it!
