Some photos from the weekend!

Hello my lovelies! Well this is a little post from the weekend! More photos to share with you haha!

I decided to go to Bicester Village, it's a lovely little place filled with designer shops at lower prices!
I love looking at all the clothes and I spotted one dress by Matthew Williamson which is gorgeous!

It's a maxi dress with a jewels on the front and then the rest is a really pretty design with bright colours.
I wasn't allowed to take a picture of it though so unfortunately cannot show you now but I have my eye on it so I'll try and get a photo in the next few weeks hahaha! :)

I spotted an adorable teapot for the Queens Jubilee and thought I'd take a picture of that for you too!

Here you go....ENJOY!! :)

Queens Jubilee Teapot!
Isn't this so cute with the matching mugs next to it! :)

Celebrating 60 Years.

I actually don't know what this is....It's not a towel or a flag so I'm not too sure what to call it.
It looked pretty in the shop window so I took a picture hahaha! :)

Of course no day is complete without one of these....

Starbucks Mocha Cookie Crumble!
Hahahaha! YES! This is gorgeous...cookie pieces blended into this drink, It's amazing and if you do get one make sure you go all out and add cream on top! It's chocolate cream! :D

Then after coming home and finishing my work, replying to emails and calls I decided to go for a walk on the field with my two gorgeous babies! Cassie and Thunder.

The sun was still shining so me being me sat on the grass and let the dogs run around....I looked up and there were NO clouds!
Not one in sight!

Beautiful Blue Sky!!!

A beautiful blue sky with no clouds in sight! I love this weather! :)

Well that's all from me for now! I hope you're all having a lovely day wherever you are and I hope the weather is gorgeous where you are too! :)

I'll be writing a make-up review later so make sure you check back! :)

London, Sun, Starbucks & Meetings!!!

Hello all you gorgeous people!

I hope you're all well and enjoying the weekend so far! Here in the UK the weather has been AMAZING and today I managed to get a tan so I'm a really happy girl!
Who said you need to sit on a beach abroad to get a tan??

This week I have been unbelievably busy with meetings in and around London and I CANNOT wait to tell you what's coming soon but I'm not allowed just yet!

Now some of you who follow me on Instagram may have seen my photos of cold drinks and I think I may be getting slightly addicted to Starbucks hahaha!
Who else has tried the new Mocha cookie crumble??? It's gorgeous!!

Anyway I took a few photos from London a couple of days ago and I want to share them with you so really you come traveling with me...haha :)

London sun!
In this photo you can't really see just how busy it was...people EVERYWHERE! So to me this looks a little empty but still it's pretty because the sun is shining!

London bus, buildings, people and sun!
There we go! This is better...people EVERYWHERE hahaha! I love the bus in the background...totally British!

As you can see people were in shorts and dresses but earlier in the morning it wasn't sunny at all...in fact it was cloudy and I was in two minds whether to wear a maxi-dress or my jeans and a vest top and yes you guessed it I picked my jeans and vest top!

By this photo I was soooooo warm and really jealous of everyone wearing their shorts hahaha but I still had a VERY good day!

I decided to buy some water and the nearest shop to me was Selfridges so I went into the food hall and came by the BEST bottle of water I have EVER seen!!!

LOVE limited edition water
THE BEST BOTTLE EVER! I love anything sparkly and of course this caught my eye! It's lovely and limited edition but I didn't buy it because I wouldn't drink it....I'd just buy it because it was pretty hahaha! So I got evian instead! (Pretty bottle too but I drank that!)

I love walking around Selfridges and the smell of the food in the hall was lovely but I didn't eat as I had to rush off to my next meeting!

After running around to various places and getting spoilt with gorgeous sandals I decided it was time to come back home, have a shower, eat some food and relax after a wonderful day.

I know this post hasn't got anything to do with make-up but I want to share my photos with you!
Here is one photo I took when I cam back home!

Cassie and Thunder!

These are my two gorgeous babies! :)

I will be writing a wonderful review on another Soap&Glory product during next week so make sure you check back to see that!
Hopefully I'll have another post on here for you tomorrow too and I'm bursting to tell you the wonderful news hahaha!

I want you to hear from you gorgeous things!
Tell me what you've been getting up to!
What the weather is like where you are and what beauty trends you've been trying! I want to hear from youuuuuu! :)

Goodnight & Lots of love to you all!

Sun, Colour & Summer Nail Trends!!!

Hello everyone!! Well I am in one of the happiest moods ever! (I'm always happy but i'm over the top happy)
The sun has been shining over London...gorgeous London!!! When the sun is out everything is beautiful and happy and I really like that!

Well here is the post I promised yesterday about the nail polish trend. It's a simple trend that can be done with 2 colours!

Some of you may have seen it on Instagram because I posted it a couple of days ago but thought it would be good to share it with you on here too!

Instagram picture nail trends polka dots
So, so simple and yet really cute!

  • Make sure your nails are clean and remove any traces of old polish
  • Use a bright colour like coral, turquoise, red, purple...something that stands out!
  • Apply your first coat and let nails dry.
  • Once your nails have dried apply your second coat and let them dry properly.
  • Pick a metallic/glitter colour of your choice like a silvery/gold.
  • Dot nails in an uneven manner....you don't need to have the equal!

That's it!

Simple steps to achieving this look without toothpicks!

I find whenever I use toothpicks to do a nail design when it comes to removing it, the colour will come off but the metallic colour is still on my nails meaning I have to use lots more remover!
This way it all comes off in one go! :)

Here are the colours I used!

Rimmel coralicious BeautyUK Topaz posh polish

Yes I used Rimmel's Coralicious and BeautyUK's topaz from the posh polish collection to create the look above!

It's a fun look and you can add your own twist by changing the colours and design...I'm just giving you an outline and a little example of one look and how easy it is to create!

Perfect for these summer days we have coming...imagine wearing your favourite sandals and having this cute design peeping up at you!
Instantly makes you smile......that's what it's all about! :)

Lots of love, sun and bubblegum drinks from lovely London!

I'll be posting on my other blog too later so check.it.out!!! :)

Goodbye little Casper....

All of us who love animals and have pets know that we bond with them more than we bond with people. They may not talk to you but just having a little cat or dog with you makes things a lot better.

Cats and dogs come into our life and they don't care if we are rich, poor, tall, small, old, young, no they don't care!
Regardless of who we are they love us and will always be with us by our side!

Yesterday we lost a little member of our family. I hadn't written about him before (sadly) but I have to write a little post for him just to say I'll miss him and I will never forget him!

Casper the cat!
This little man was half asleep in this photo!

You may have gone but you'll never be forgotten!

All animals come into our lives, become our best friends and they leave little paw-prints on our hearts forever!

SOAP&GLORY Smoulder kohl eye pencil review!

Hey everyone! I hope you've all had a lovely relaxing weekend!
I have been spending some time with my little nephew and celebrated my wonderful brother's birthday yesterday!

Today (Sunday) I have been getting into work mode again but checking through my emails...I've had quite a few random questions and I'll be tweeting the answer to my favourite question tomorrow.
The question is 'Tell us one thing not that many people know about you!'
So tomorrow I'll be telling you haha! :)

Back to the main point I will be writing about Soap& Glory's Smoulder Kohl Pencil!

SOAP & GLORY SMOULDER KOHL PENCIL

Up till now I have been a MASSIVE fan of MAC's pencil in 'smoulder' BUT that has been pushed to one side by this little beauty!

Everyone who knows me well knows I cannot live without eye pencil. It's a must have....it's like a staple in my make-up kit, make-up bag and make-up table and I'm rarely seen without eyeliner!

I love the versatility...a simple line along the lash line to make eyes look bigger, a sexy flick at the end teamed with red lipstick for that vintage hollywood glamour look, lined and smudged for the smoky effect...the list is endless and I think it's a MUST for EVERY girl to have a black eye pencil in her kit!

When the wonderfully girlie package from Soap&Glory came through I was so excited and when my eyes fell upon the eye pencil I was like a child that got what they wanted for Christmas!

The one thing I love about this pencil that is extremely useful for girls on the go is the sharpener built into the lid! It's brilliant because I always lose sharpeners and end up buying one each time and it'll come to the day that I'll end up finding 5 in the same place but with this you CAN'T lose it...it's on the lid haha!

Sharpener on Soap&Glory Smoulder Pencil!

All you need to do is pull the little lid that covers the sharpener and you're good to go!

The pencil is sharpened for you so you don't really need to use it for the first few times but I don't like to have a really sharp pencil.

I prefer mine to be on the blunt-ish side as I find that:
1. You don't stab yourself in the eye!
2. It's smooth which means you won't irritate the eye.
3. You get a smokier effect!

Not too sharp not too blunt! How sharp to have your eye pencil!

As I've mentioned above the effects are endless!
For a simple line just draw a delicate line along the top eyelash line, don't do it all in one go, just line bit by bit and if it ends up a little messy just smudge it with your ring finger and coat your lashes in mascara!

For a little flick at the end line your lashes like I've mentioned above and when you get to the end either extend it to the length you're happy or pull it up slightly at a little angle.

For a sexy smoky effect line your eyes, it doesn't have to be perfect, now using either your ring finger or a smudger go over the line as if you're blending it into the lash line and pull it out at the end.
On your lower lashes using the smudger do the same and you should get a smoky effect. Coat lashes in 2-3 coats of mascara for that sexy smoky look!

TIP: Add a pop of highlighter on the arches of your brow which will make your eyes look bigger!

Simple eyeliner

As you can see in the picture above it's a really simple, easy look thats perfect for day and (with a touch more eyeliner) night!
I've just lined the top and lower lashes and then applied 2 coats of mascara on top and 1 on the bottom!

What I'm wearing:

-Revlon photo finish foundation (Face)
-Laura Geller Bronzer
-Virgin Vie Blusher
-Thick & Fast Mascara Soap&Glory
-Smoulder Kohl Pencil
-Smashbox Lipgloss

Soap&Glory Smoulder Kohl Close up
Just a little close up so you can see Smoulder Kohl in action!
A simple line on the top and bottom lashes and mascara! (yes they're my lashes lol

You can create this look in minutes! It's so easy and it looks gorgeous!
Perfect for the daytime at work and if you know you're going out after take the pencil with you, line it a little bit more and smudge it! Instant Glamour!! :)

Smoky eyeliner and mascara simple make-up look!

And another close up....a close up of a close up if you like haha!
Here you can see the simple line and I've just smudged it slightly at the ends but for a night/evening out look I would have applied more liner and smudged it a lot more!

As you can see I love this eye pencil! You get a little play time with it before it becomes waterproof so try and create the looks you want quickly because once it 'sets' it's done!

The liner I had on my hand (in the picture at the top) didn't come off when I used water, I had to use Fairy liquid or my cleanser and then it came off so this would be good in the gym and if you're watching a sad film!

This is now my new FAVOURITE pencil! I am so happy with it and I do believe anyone who loves eyeliners should definitely try this!
If you're a fan of MAC's Smoulder please try this! I didn't want to change my eyeliner but I'll tell you one thing MAC's smoulder pencil no longer exists for me this has totally taken over!

I just want to say THANKYOU to SOAP&GLORY for sending me these gorgeous products to review!

I'll be getting the next few reviews done in the next couple of weeks so make sure you all check back! :)

To buy this or any of Soap&Glory's products make sure you check out http://www.soapandglory.com/

You can buy this in the UK from their website (link above) for just £5!!!!!

As always I want to hear your thoughts!! Have you tried this beautiful pencil?
Love Soap&Glory? Whats your favourite product from the range??

I want to hear from YOU! Yes YOU reading this post! :)

Lots of love and goodnight from me!

Little trip to some caves.....

Hey guys how are you all!?

I know it's a friday and probably most of you are either getting ready to go out or are out but I'm having a lovely night in and as always staying up till 2-3 in the morning working....not so fun you may be thinking but I enjoy it! :) (Workaholic) hahaha

This afternoon I had a few hours off to spend some time with my wonderful mum, sister and nephew!!

So we went to the Hell Fire Caves.

A brief outline for you
The hell fire caves are ancient origin and were extended in the 1940's by Sir Francis Dashwood, founder of the notorious Hellfire Club.
The Hellfire club was mainly to organise meetings between Lords, Senior Aristocrats and Statesmen.

Before we even entered the caves we bought glowsticks (which would come in handy) I didn't think I would need mine, I just bought it because I like pink and it reminded me of when I was younger running round on firework night with my pink glowstick hahaha!

Pink Glowstick!
Walking into the caves you have little descriptions on either side describing the history of it and on some little models of how it was when it was first built....all very interesting!

Tunnels in the caves
Walking through the caves, some were tall, some were low like the one pictured above, some were windy and some were straight...it's all a little bit un-even but that's what makes it fun!
Each tunnel had a little story and a little passage with different rooms and what they were used for.

My favourite room was the 'Banquet Room' though which is pictured below.

Banquet Hall
This was my favourite room because it was large, light and my imagine sort of went wild and I could imagine how it was.
It's 40 feet in diameter and 1000 feet from the entrance!!!

On the ceiling there is a little hook where a massive lamp hung in the 18th century...I tried taking a photo but it didn't really come out right!

Walking through the tunnels!
Yes my gorgeous nephew, beautiful mum and beautiful sister walking through the tunnels....me taking the photos hahaha!

GLOWSTICKS!!
You can tell I'm slightly addicted to glowsticks and their wonderful colour....one point we needed them because one of the tunnels got a little bit darker.....I took the flash off my phone so I could get the colour of the glowsticks...it wasn't that dark hahaha!

Inside the caves
As you can see in the photos above there's little statues to how they got around, what lighting was used and what their clothing was like....it's so weird seeing how it was back then but at the same time it's really interesting to see how people lived.

Poem

Now this is a poem but the Roman Numerals above it are the main feature. This is rumoured to be either a  secret code to a passage although no passage has ever been found or it's to say the distance from that spot to the entrance.

We didn't spend long in the caves about 10-15 minutes and we were outside again! We then sat for a nice cappuccino, cheese toast and scone with clotted cream and jam.

Yes my bikini body diet no longer exists and to be honest I don't care....we only live once so lets eat what we want, exercise when we can and be happy!

The weather hasn't been great here in the UK (surprise, surprise) and as it's the weekend I will probably get some time either tomorrow or sunday to write up my review about Soap & Glory's Smoulder Kohl Pencil with the sharpener top!

I love this pencil...it's waterproof and black but more to come in the review! :)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and make sure you check back for the review!! :)

Lots of Love!

BEAUTYUK: Posh Polish Topaz Review

Hey I hope you're all having a lovely weekend so far!

The weather has been pretty nice here in the UK but you still need a cardigan or jumper to go out...not yet time for vest tops and shorts...booo hoo!!

Anyway here is the BeautyUK Topaz Review for you all....it's the last of the 3 'POSH POLISH' collection and I have to say each and every colour is unique and lovely in it's own way!
The look is a glittery/foil effect which is really lovely and I don't think another brand has anything like this...yet!

Here are some pictures for you all! ENJOY!! :)

BEAUTY UK POSH POLISH COLLECTION

Topaz is a gold/silvery colour....it's not quite gold and not quite silver!

I like that though because if you want more of a gold effect team it with green coloured shirts/vest tops and gold jewellery but if you want it on the silvery side wear blue/purple colours and team it with silver jewellery!
(Cool tip there for you!)

POSH POLISH COLLECTION BRUSH

The brush is lovely, not too wide and not too thin...it covers the nail but you do have to apply a thick coat for it to be even!

As I've mentioned in my other posts make sure you apply a base coat. A good base coat would be one with vitamins so you can protect your nails and keep them healthy.
Base coats keep the nail smooth and even which makes your nail polish look better and last longer!

TOPAZ POLISH BEAUTYUK
Colour 02- Topaz.

All the posh polish collection last a while if you have a base and top coat on, generally they do last of a few days but if you're like me and change your nail colour every 2-3 days (when I'm not reviewing polishes) make sure you SOAK the cotton pad in nail polish remover and just wrap each finger with a cotton pad.

This way glitter doesn't go everywhere and you can wipe it off in one go! :)
(Another cool tip for you hahaha!)

POSH POLISH COLLECTION BEAUTY UK TOPAZ!
Finally you can see how it look on nails. It's a really delicate colour which is lovely for the day and you can add a statement ring or bracelet and it will look gorgeous during the evening.

All the colours in this collection are really pretty and I can't wait to see what the next collection will be from BeautyUK!!

Gorgeous colours at seriously affordable prices!! :) £3.49

Make sure you click  BEAUTYUK WEBSITE so you can find out about any new product launches and LIKE them on FACEBOOK for sneak peeks and updates!

Have you tried these colours??? what do you think of them??

COMMENT and let me know!! I want to hear from YOU! Yes YOU reading this! :)

Hope you have a lovely weekend gorgeous people!

Soap&Glory: Kick Ass Concealer Review

Hello all you lovely readers!! Are you having a good weekend??

Here in the UK a lot of us will be having another rest day tomorrow because it's bank holiday...I won't be though as I have too much work and too many emails to look through and reply to hahaha (I LOVE it though!)

I promised another Soap&Glory review in the next few days and it's here!! Yes I will be writing my review about Soap&Glory's 3-piece Kick Ass Concealer!!! (Don't you love the name!

Before I even start my review I will say that this is one of the BEST concealers I have EVER tried! Seriously...it's THAT good!

As I mentioned in my previous review I love the packaging...it looks lovely on your vanity table, make-up kit, bag...anywhere...it just looks pretty and that's something we all love!

Once I received my wonderfully presented parcel I dived right in like a child opening presents on Christmas day...oohing and ahhhing as I looked at the products. (Seriously, I'm like a child ha!

Soap&Glory Kick Ass Concealer! It really does Kick Ass!!

Kick Ass Concealer shade- Medium

Back/Ingredients side of Kick Ass Concealer
Once you open up the little box (pictured above) you're presented with a chunky tub with more wonderful packaging!

Kick Ass Conclear tub
The thing that I really liked about the concealer packaging which is extremely rare to find with other brands is that you have little step-by-step instructions for what each concealer does and little tips on how to apply it which is really helpful if you're just starting out with make-up!

Step 1
Step 1 is the under eye concealer on the left side.
It's wonderfully creamy and soft in texture so be careful with it because you could end up with a little dip in it if you press it haha!

Step 2
Step 2 is the face concealer which is slightly darker tone as it's used on the face. It's creamy but not as soft as the under eye concealer so you can be firmer with it.

Step 3
Step 3 is the setting powder which you apply once you're happy with your concealer. It comes with a mini puff sponge which is so cute!

3 Steps: Kick Ass Concealer

Next thing was to try this concealer. I cleansed my face, applied my moisturiser and then applied my face primer, letting it sink into the skin for a few minutes.

Once I was happy I started to apply a little bit of the under eye concealer. You can use your ring finger or a concealer brush (whatever suits you) and started to apply it gently under the eye area.

I love the feeling, it's so creamy and blends into the skin leaving you with an almost airbrushed look.
I don't have really dark eyes but I used it on a client of mine who has really dark bags and it covered hers perfectly!!

Once I was happy with my under eye area I then decided to hide a little scar I have on my cheek. It made it disappear and yet it looked SO natural! I was falling in love!!

Oh I forgot to mention that there's also a little compact mirror too so if you don't have time to do your concealer in the morning or just want to check your make-up throughout the day then you can keep this in your handbag! :)

Mirror in the Kick Ass Concealer
Once I was happy with the concealer I then used the setting powder which is oh-so cute! You only need a little bit of this setting powder and then this will NOT come off!

At the end of a very long day I purposely splashed my face with water and it didn't really budge!
I had to cleanse my skin with my own (LaylaDNaturalBeauty) face cleanser and then it came off!

If I had to give this a mark out of 10 it's definitely a 10/10!
I have never given anything other than my favourite mascara a 10 so this is right at the top of my must-have kit!
I will also be adding it to my must-have's on here.

Kick Ass Concealer Swatches

Above you can see the swatches of each shade and the steps. You can see the eye concealer is a light shade and that's because there's particles which brighten the under eye area! (We all love brightening our eyes!)

Anything on the face tends to be a darker shade as it's meant to warm the skin which leaves you looking healthy and let's be honest, we all want to look healthier!! ;)

Sometime next week I will be doing a LIVE tutorial on Ustream for simple make-up and will be using this so you can see a LIVE demonstration of it too! :)

Make sure you all click  Soap&Glory to be directed to their website for their latest product launches and to buy this direct from them for £10 which is a bargain for how well it works and how lovely it makes your skin look!!!
Or you can go to your local Boots store and buy it from there! :)

Have you tried this?? What do you think??
Love or Hate??

Let me know!! I want to hear from all you lovely people!!! :)
