Update on Aussie Haircare - Mini Review!

As a lot of you have read that I received some wonderful goodies from Aussie haircare to try...it's been a month or so since I received the products and have only just gotten round to using them so there will be a FULL review in a couple of weeks!

Aussie shampoo and conditioner spray

I LOVE the smell of Aussie haircare...it's like bubblegum, coconut and fruit mixed into one hahaha and I love that my hair feels soft after washing BUT it doesn't keep it feeling hydrated the next day!

My hair is long and the ends really need to be looked after so conditioner, masks and oils are on my list of things which I use.

(I have an incredible oil coming to LaylaD Beauty but more info to come soon :) ......)

I will keep using the products so things may change but it's just a little update for now!

Fashion Trend: Colourful Satchels!

Eugh.....Sometimes I don't go shopping for a reason....I want to BUY EVERYTHING I see and since seeing adverts on TV and magazine articles about The Cambridge Satchel Company I've wanted one of these bad boys!

I absolutely love how colourful, fun and practical they are!

My favourite colours are the pink and yellow....In winter they add that splash of colour if you're wearing all black and in summer they will look gorgeous with a simple vest, denim shorts and flip flops!

I'm so in LOVE with these bags....simple, chic and fun!

Christmas photos, Christmas Decorations....London Style!!!

Over the weekend I thought I would have a little read of other blogs and see what everyone's chatting about and I came across a lot of wonderful blogs out there which I didn't know about.

One thing I noticed is that everyone focuses on their photos....I seem to focus more on the content but when I sit back and think about it the photos are what attracts someone to a blog. If photos are not good quality then you can easily get put off and with that I have made it a 'thing' to pay more attention to my photos, making sure that they're clear and lovely so here is the last section of my London Christmas photos and later I'll be writing a beauty post....yay!

London really is a beautiful place especially when all the lights are on and it's decorated....Starbucks on every corner, music playing, cold....it's all lovely and Christmassy but time goes by so fast and before we know it there won't be anymore Christmas decorations! :(

Caviar nail polish, Glitter nail polish, Colourful nail polish....why do we love nail polish!?

Hey Beauties!

Why do we all love nail polish as much as we do!? What fascinates us to the colours, sparkles and effects!?

I have NO idea but I'm in love with how quick, easy and simple it is to update any look with a couple of coats of polish.

You can keep it simple, mix and match the colours, add nail stickers, glitter....the list really is endless and even though we keep creating new trends and new looks there seems to be no end to what we can achieve with our nails!!

I have never tried Orly polish so this is on my must-have or to-try list but the only problem is that they're not available everywhere here in the UK!

I also want to try Ciate caviar polish....this is something that I've looked at, re-looked at and yes look at again.....I don't know why but I find it an extremely cool look and think if I tried it I'd love it even more hahaha!

Pretty Christmas Decorations!

Hey guys,

As a lot of you know I LOVE Christmas, I love the cinnamon smells, I love the deep reds and plum colours, I love the candles, I love the sparkly lights, I love the Christmas music and I love how happy people are!

I also love the pretty decorations which seem to get prettier each and every year....as I always do I tend to go to different stores and have a little look at the new decorations...I do this around November so I can get ideas on the colour schemes and decorations.

This year I went a little later but have only just managed to edit the photos and thought to share the pictures with you!

Pretty Christmas Decorations

I was so in love with the cupcakes that I decided to buy one...I also bought another cupcake decoration but that was a glass bauble with a cupcake right in the middle and on the top it has tiny little sparkles which are soooo cute!

I'll take a picture and share it on here.....I'll actually take a few of my Christmas decorations and write a post about them so you can see what my tree looks like and what decorations I tend to go for hahaha!

I love the colours this year, they're so pretty and colourful and remind me of being a little girl in a sweet shop!!

What are your favourite decorations?? What colours do you love???

What I like to do in Christmas is take ordinary furniture and turn them Christmassy, for instance take a vase which you love and fill it with cheap baubles...mix the colours or keep them all the same and put it in the middle of your dining table and wrap a table wreath around it for a festive feel......

Or take a sweetie jar (glass) and take tissue paper to fill it with and put it on a stand in your little girls room with a couple of small baubles.....it's little things like this which you can make on a budget yet give your home that Christmassy feel!

I might make a few things and post pictures as a tutorial....it may be a little late but you can always use it for next year :)

Early Christmas Present from Filofax!!! Osterley Plum Diary!! :)

Hello Gorgeous readers!!

I hope you're all well and before I start I just want to say how much I've missed writing on here!! I have been so busy with the skincare range and working on some AMAZING new things to bring you that I just haven't had the time to sit down and write a post!!!!

I know....bad Layla :(

BUT I am now sat on my comfy sofa in my pyjamas, really cool slipper socks, no make-up and hair in a bun so I thought I would come on here and write to you all :)

Yes it's early...I know hahaha! 

As Christmas is just around the corner (no Christmas shopping has started for me) I have been working really hard with my beautiful team on our website and I cannot wait to show you what we've been working on!

Yes there have been ups and downs but in every situation there will be good and bad times! 

I can't complain though....I'm doing something which I love and I'm surrounded with people that I love and I have an amazing blog family which I love too!

Last week was really, really cool as I got sent a BEAUTIFUL, SEXY, GORGEOUS Osterley diary from the one and only FILOFAX!!!!

I have to say a massive THANKYOU to Filofax for sending me my gorgeous diary and I cannot wait to use it at the end of December and beyond!!

How gorgeous is the box? It came in a bigger cardboard box and said sent to 'Blogger for review' hahaha....I'm such a geek :p

Ta da.....there is my beautiful, sexy, gorgeous diary! It's a lovely deep plum colour with a cute buckle which gives it an amazing designer look!

It's a wonderful size....it's not too big which means you can put it in your bag and it's not too small either meaning there's plenty of room to write in!

Little extras, coloured fashion paper, sticky notes and year planner Filofax

These little extras came with the diary....it's a year planner which unfolds (I'll show you in the next post)

 Some adorable sticky notes which is really useful if you have to quickly highlight things so you don't forget what to do and some fashion coloured papers which are really handy for note making and writing down different bits and pieces quickly!

As you can all probably tell I'm so in love with this little gem and cannot wait to start using it at the end of this month!

PART 3 - London Christmas Pictures!

Hey gorgeous people!!

Well yesterday evening I tried to write this post but as soon as I added all my photos and finished my post blogger decided to crash!?!?!?!?!??!

Has this happened to anyone else??

Anyway - I'm back and writing this post for you again! :)

For those of you who like to keep up with my blog this is PART 3 of my London/Christmas photos......for those of you who don't know (hello if you're new!) I recently went to London and after a meeting had some time to explore and get in the Christmassy spirit but as I knew you would like to see these photos I took one too many.....whoops! :D 

SO that means that I have to split the post into sections to fit the best photos on here!!

Leicester Square

A lovely building in Leicester Square opposite the M&M building! 

It was sooooo busy and I was trying to not have random people included in the photos but that's what happens when you're in London....

The M&M building.....if you're a sweetie/chocolate lover like me then this is somewhere you NEED to go when you visit London!

Just make sure that it's not closing early....I was about to walk in and there was a row of men standing side by side turning people away.....I asked nicely if I could just take a few photos but I got a simple NO! :(

Chinatown London

So I headed to Chinatown....now to be honest i'm not such a big fan of here but I wanted to walk through and see the decorations as I was heading to Covent Garden (which is gorgeous and you can see the pictures in my next post) but as you can see in the pictures it was really busy, really lively and quite pleasant to walk through!

 I was walking through some streets and ended up here but it was round the corner from Covent Garden!

A really pretty theatre where they were playing Matilda the musical....round the corner from a STARBUCKS!!! :)

Christmas in London

This is such a pretty photo and each time I look at it I think ooooh Christmas is on the way!

The lighting on the buildings, the christmas lights and the darkness all work so lovely and compliment each other in this picture!
