I like M.A.C make-up but since I reacted to one of their foundations have been a little bit weary!

I always check out their new collections though as I love their colours, pigments and textures....its all fun and gorgeous!

There you have the wonderful collection from M.A.C....I really like the sound of their lipsticks.....I have a real love relationship with lipsticks...they're just so lovely and easy to wear!!

The eyeshadows and lipsticks also look really, really cool as they have this snake design pressed into them....look closely at the pictures and you'll see what I mean!! :)

Sneak Peek - Revlon 'Nearly Naked' Collection

Ok so you all know I love bringing you sneak peeks and never-seen before products so imagine my joy when I was invited to see the wonderful new collection from Revlon which isn't even in stores yet!!

The new 'Nearly Naked' range is wonderful for those of us who love that 'no makeup' makeup look!

I haven't gotten round to trying these beauties yet but I will be doing a FULL review in the next couple of weeks with detailed pictures and swatches!

I just wanted to take a few photos of the products in the snow as I thought it looked super cute.....I on the other hand was really cold standing in the snow and trying to get a good picture hahaha!

The 'Nearly Naked' foundation by Revlon has been formulated with hollow silica pigments meaning it mimics the skin's tone and texture.

These will be available from 20th February but I can assure you that I will have written my FULL review and posted some wonderful pictures for you before then!!

Trip to France!

When I went to France before I came back home I stopped off at a Mall...I'd been there before but never during Christmas......the decorations were absolutely gorgeous!! 

Simple but very pretty!

Even the toilets were so cool hahaha!

Hahaha....I know I may sound like a complete weirdo but I had to take a picture of the toilets as they were decorated with pretty lights in the roof too!!

I don't think I've ever seen a mall toilet being decorated during Christmas!!

Snow-time in the UK!!

As a lot of you know we've had some snow in the UK!

I LOVE snow...I was born in February (Amethyst) and my mother told me when I came out the hospital everywhere was white due to the snow and I've always loved it since I was little!

I remember that we used to get really bad snow days in the UK and everything seemed to run fine...about 4 years ago we went through a phase where we didn't get as much snow as we used to and now that we get more than we expected everything seems to come to a standstill and I really can't understand why!?

Compared to other countries we get very little snow so we should be better prepared!!

Anyway here are a few photos over the past 2 days!

I feel like a little girl again when I see snow...it just comforts me when snow is falling from the sky and you can see it start to settle on the ground...

Hahaha...this last photo makes me smile...I thought it would be fun to take a photo of my boots so you can see how deep the snow is!!

I'll be writing a post about these boots...they're my biker-ish boots which I am in love with!!

They keep my feet nice and warm, provide grip on ice and are just SO comfortable and so stylish...but I'll keep all of this for another post! :)

Ok....so I've received a few emails asking what are my must-have items....no not must-have beauty products but 'must-have with me at all times' items so I thought I'd show you 3 things I need to have with me!

Yeah i'm so living the high-life...hahahaha! 

I need to have my iPhone with me all the time....a couple of weeks ago I forgot it at home and I felt naked...I felt like I lost a part of me...I couldn't check my emails, tweet, text or call....it was not a good day! :/

My gorgeous filofax which was sent to me by filofax before Christmas!

 It's the Osterley Plum diary and I LOVE it......I write my notes in here and keep track of things, blog posts, meetings...you know the usual!

(I'm looking for some gorgois diary inserts so if you know of a place in the UK that does them...let me know!!)

My Fiorelli purse! 

This is a gorgeous beauty which was bought my gorgeous sister!! It's such a beautiful colour...I'll take a few photos and show you in another post!

That's my must-have with me at all times items!! 

Nothing too fancy....I don't need a Gucci purse, or a diamond phone case...I'm happy with simple things!

The Grove Hotel - Healthy Smoothies and Chocolate Brownies!!

Just before Christmas I had a wonderful appointment at one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been to....The Grove!

Each time I go to The Grove I always feel calm and at ease...everyone who works there is extra polite, the coffee is gorgeous each time and there's a wonderful Alcohol-free raspberry sorbet which is just beautiful!

This time though I went to the spa and when you go to The Grove you understand just how posh it is....people hold the door open for you, people take your car and park it for you....it's actually a little strange to get used to other people doing things for you!

Anyway a lovely man drove me round to their spa (yes it is THAT big) and as soon as I walked in I felt even more calm!

I went to the little sitting area (all pictured below) and drank a gorgeous (healthy) smoothie which came with complimentary shortcake (unhealthy) and then I ordered a brownie (unhealthy) with ice cream (unhealthy) and some lime/orange jelly thing (weird) and I ate it all......oops!

Anyway you can all feel like you were with me as I took pictures to share with you :)

As you can see the hotel is beautiful!

If you want to see more just 'google' The Grove and check it out....it's super-luxurious and posh but once you go there you'll never want to leave....I could live there hahaha!!
(Actually I couldn't...I'd miss my lovely house)

So technology just keeps getting better and better and nowadays there doesn't seem to be one person who doesn't have a phone....even my little nephew who is 8 has a phone!!

When Blackberry brought out their pearl..it was all anyone spoke about and I must have been about 15 at the time....I remember really wanting one but couldn't afford it so a couple of years later got my first ever Blackberry which was a curve!

Neon & Pastel - Spring/Summer Trend 2013

Well after Christmas everyone seems to get all sad and miserable as there's not much to look forward to BUT there is!!

Spring and Summer!!
 That's right...it's a wonderful time to start getting your summer holidays ready and looking at what wonderful trends will be seen on the catwalks!!

Now as a lot of you know I don't follow trends....I just do what I feel comfortable in wearing and what I think looks good....sometimes the trends are similar to what I'm wearing and other times it's the complete opposite!

Since last year I have loved pastel and neon coloured clothes as I think they really bring an outfit together....you can wear a pair of pastel jeans with a white vest and simple flip flops and it's effortless chic.

A simple LBD and a pair of neon high heels look gorgeous together...add a neon clutch and again you look beautiful without looking like you've spent hours deciding what to wear!

I want some of these for the spring months when you can go out with a little vest, shirt and flip and flops...these jeans will go with anything...you can turn them up as you can see on the mint coloured ones...find one with zips as you can see on the lavender ones....it's all lovely!!

Neon is incredible as you can have that statement without having to spend loads...a simple pair of shoes...a blazer...a bag!

As a lot of you know I LOVE travelling and seeing new places so just before Christmas I went to Brugges, Belgium where they make Belgian Chocolate and as you'll see in the photos...I had fun! :)

My favourite photo is the last photo....it was just so peaceful and beautiful that I really wanted to capture that to share it with you!

This is somewhere to visit if you love chocolate and sweeties....the place is filled with little boutique stores, candy shops and mini chocolate factories so you'll definitely have fun.

One thing I will say is I found that the people were a little on the rude side...I accidentally walked into a woman and said 'Sorry' and she looked at me as if I had slapped her across the face!

I then held the door open for a lady with a pushchair and she just walked away...so don't be surprised if people are a tiny bit on the rude side!

Other than that I really enjoyed it! Coffee stands with a selection of liquors to add to your coffee...sweets, chocolates! It's great!

The little penguin (pictured above) I took him home with me and he's sat in my kitchen as I don't want to eat him yet!!
